Who qualifies for a Concealed Carry License in MD and other states?

Thanks to the Supreme Court’s recent decision everyone who can pass a background check now qualifies for a Maryland (MD) Concealed Carry Permit.

LTTC Safety instructors are certified in Maryland, DC, and Utah/Virginia. These certifications allow you to take one course and obtain multiple permits at the same time saving time and money.

Steps to Obtain a Concealed Carry Permit in Maryland:

1. You will need to take the MD & D.C. approved course taught by LTTC Safety. The course is a 2 day course with both lecture and live fire range included. Although the state mandates a 25 round “live fire” course, LTTC Safety provides a 5 hour range day that involves 300-400 rounds of live fire. Taught by active and retired Law Enforcement, the program provides a well-rounded approach to the concealed carry process, with both credible and experienced trainers. 2. You will also need to get your “Live Scan” fingerprints completed and then submitted electronically to the Maryland State Police. United Gun Shop, our sister company, has the fingerprint technology at the shop and will also have it at each of our courses.
